ASTM A181 / A181M
ASTM A181 is a material specification for Carbon Steel nonstandard
as-forged pipeline components such as flanges, pipe fittings, valve
component, rings, round bars and many other forging parts, used for
industrial piping applications. The specification covers two classes
60 & 70. Forgings made to this specification are limited to maximum
weight of 10000 Lb (4540 Kg.). ASTM A181 product can be ordered
either to dimensions specified by the buyer or to dimensional
standards such as ANSI, ASME, API or MSS.
