FERROBEND is a successor to M/s Anand Steels, a company founded in the Year 1981 by Mr. Mishrimal Umaji Mehta, who ran the company up until the second generation took over the day-to-day operations in the year 2008. Anand Steels was a well-known stockiest and supplier of industrial raw material that covered pipes, bars, rods and plates across stainless steel and high nickel alloys.
Due to the growing competition, the younger generation decided to look for a niche market and went on to develop a business strategy which will serve customer holding make to order jobs and products which are not available off-shelf. The market was not new but had very few competitors and great untapped potential. This further led us to develop an overseas market and thus FERROBEND was formed in the year 2014 as an entity to brand our products to both domestic and overseas market. FERROBEND is involved into manufacturing bar stock fittings, flanges, valves and machined fasteners and components for ‘make to order’ basis and shut down jobs.
FERROBEND is a now family run business, Mr. Samkit Mehta and Mr. Shrenik Mehta being the forerunners in this company. To this day, FERROBEND has maintained the strategy and serving customer all over the globe from Far East Asia to North and South America. We now have a customer database of over 200+ Customers from over 30+ countries. We are constantly upgrading ourselves and growing at 40% Y-OY basis.
COVID-19 has changed everything from people to business and so has affected our lives. FERROBEND also took a bold step and changed it focus from serving fittings and flanges to fasteners. Since March 2020, ever since the announcement of nation-wide lockdown, our team has been furious since the nature of our business hampered the most during the lockdown and estimated to have slow pick up.
From April 2021 we have incorporated a new entity into our business M/s Boltport Fasteners and have merged the business of fasteners manufacturing, giving us an edge over current industry player. As of now we are emphasizing on developing a master inventory on standard conventional fasteners and continue serving niche market of make to order fastener jobs. We have established ourselves as a manufacturer of unconventional and standard fasteners across mild steel, high tensile carbon and alloy steel to high nickel alloys and titanium, catering oil and gas, process piping, mineral and metal mining, and offshore platforms.

Logistics & Transportation
We have the ability to ship the goods to any corner of the world provided it is not sanctioned country. We can arrange both air and sea shipment via our agents or your nominated agents. We can carry commercial air cargo, LCL, FCL sea shipments. We have delivery partners like DHL who carry our shipment up to your doorstep. Our strategic locations enable us to delivery quick via sea or airport.

We minimize our usage of any material that is harmful to the environment while maintaining our efficiency to delivery international standard products.
The bar stock is tagged and stored with clear identification ensuring no wastage due to alloy grade mismatch. We separate our surplus into their respective grades to help ensure proper recycling.
s against plastic corrugated boxes, we use corrugated boxes made up of eco-friendly paper. We ensure using minimal packaging material which is harmful to the environment, and we have set our goals to completely eradicate any usage of plastic by Year 2025.
We take steps to ensure a reduction in our effects on envi¬ron¬mental and social wellbeing. Therefore, we consider our social respon¬sibility as a priority with policies on anti-bribery and tax evasion. Furthermore, we audit our suppliers to ensure that, not only their quality procedure but also their social and ethical policies including anti-slavery and human trafficking are in line with our own.
Infrastructure
FERROBEND is self-sustainable in manufacturing of machined fasteners and bar stock components. This machine workshop is located up north the city of Mumbai. Let us have a glimpse of all the machinery we have and what each one is capable of.

Centerless grinding for achieving diameter under precise tolerance. Precursor to all roll threading process.
Roll Threading
Threads are formed with no wastage of material. 30% stronger than cut threads and efficient than cut threads.
Flat Die Threading
Flat die threading machine forms threads faster but suitable for smaller range of sizes.
Power Presses
From indenting to socket punching, hand press does it all. Precise and efficient for bulk production.
Traub
This machine can perform 6 processes at one, from cutting, facing, chamfering to drilling, etc,.
